We have a new Frost Member at our very own Robert Frost Middle School. Ms. Luna is joining us for a fun year as our new Math Teacher. Ms. Luna is a very nice person and we are happy to share more about her.
Q: If you weren’t a teacher what would you be?
A: “I would be a Veterinarian”
Q: Is this your first year of teaching? If not what other school have you thought of?
A: “I have taught kids for 17 years.”
Q:If you didn’t work at Frost Middle School what other school have chosen?
A: “This is my first year of working at Frost Middle School, but I taught at Vista Middle School for 16 years prior to this.”
Q: What are your favorite hobbies?
A: “My favorite hobby is hiking outdoors in nature.”
Q: Why did you choose to teach math?
A: “I always loved math when I was young and it’s my strongest subject.”
Q: Where were you born, what ethnicity are you, and what other states have you temporarily lived in?
A: “I was born in Mission Hills California. I mostly lived in San fernado Valley and I’m Mexican.”
Q: Do you have any superstitions?
A: “Yes, my superstition is to never put a broom upside down.”
Q: What’s your favorite food and drink?
A: “My favorite food is Sushi and my favorite drink is Horchata.”
Q: What made you want to become a teacher?
A: “I wanted to always help the community.”
Q: What is your favorite memory of being a teacher?
A: “My favorite memory is when students are engaged and having fun.”
Q: What is your favorite genre? Specifically song.
A: “My favorite song is old Spanish rock like Rocken espanol. But I mostly listen to 80’s music.”
To conclude Ms. Luna is a very astonishing person and has a deep affection for teaching students. She adores her students and loves to see them succeed throughout middle school and onwards.
