California Governor Gavin Newson rejected a bill last Sunday that would’ve provided high school students with free condoms to high school students, but argued that it would cost too much and wouldn’t fit in the state budget of about 30 billion dollars, and the condoms were estimated to cost in the low millions.
Even though it was argued by many people that free condoms will help youth students who decide to be sexually active be safer, prevent sexually transmitted diseases, and prevent teen pregnancy.
