Premier League Games

Premier League Games

This week on sports, we are going to be writing about the Premier League. The game we are going to be talking about is Arsenal vs Manchester City.

We are going to talk about Arsenal vs Manchester City first because this game was crazy for Arsenal fans.  Man City starts the game with early shots, and this is expected from them. Arsenal is holding Man City and playing defensive until they find a counterattack, and luckily for them, they find one and get to take early shots just like Man City, but they do get blocked by Man City defenders. The game just kind of plays out like this for the whole game. Arsenal was kind of playing badly in the first half defensively because they couldn’t build out the back due to Man City attackers pressing the ball and blocking all the passing lanes. Man City did get a yellow for slide tackling one of Arsenal’s players. This game is not going to be easy for Arsenal. Both teams continue shooting and taking turns controlling the game until it’s finally half time and both teams are standing their ground.

Going into the second half of the game, Arsenal starts it off strong and going offensive super fast getting a shot off in the first 5 minutes. It’s deflected by the keeper and Arsenal gets a corner kick. Arsenals attackers get a head off of it, but it gets deflected by the keeper, Arsenals winger then goes in the box for the rebound, just that Man City has defenders there ready for the rebound and block it. Just like the second half, both teams get shots off and play good defense and good offense. After 84 minutes, Arsenal finds a through ball, and Arsenal plays good offense, and passes around all the way to Gabriel Martinelli on the wing, he shoots and gets a wonderful deflection off Ake and it goes into the net. Arsenal just plays defensive for the rest of the game and waits until the game ends. The score at the end of the day is 1-0 Arsenal.
