Call of Duty MW3 Early Access Campaign is Disappointing But Why?

This past weekend was the early access to the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (2023) campaign. Recently, there has been a lot of complaining in the community. The community says it is shorter than most campaigns. An average COD campaign takes 5-7 hours to complete, the MW3 campaign takes 3-4 hours.

There has been a negative trend between the community and the campaigns. The players who liked the last 2 MW campaigns say that this year is very disappointing. IGN rated the game a 4 for bad. The players are calling it a 70$ DLC. IGN’s Simon Cardy said “Woof”

Players are outraged that the game is 200GB just a “DLC.” It doesn’t even have a platinum trophy on PlayStation because it is classified as DLC. There has been some talk about slowing down the Call of Duty releasing process to work on everything that needs fixing. Microsoft now owns Call of Duty but many are saying they cannot be blamed for anything going wrong with COD, and that Activision are the ones that should be blamed.

Still with these problems and setbacks, Modern Warfare 3 is likely to be one of the top-selling games of the year. The only reason for this is simply because it is Call of Duty. Microsoft will not be putting Modern Warfare 3 onto the Xbox and PC Game pass, which will make sales go down, but increase the number of players on the game.

So even though the campaign was a let down there are still other things getting positive feedback, like multiplayer.
