Tottenham vs. Chelsea

This week on sports we will be talking about the new Premier League games. The game you will be reading about is Tottenham vs Chelsea, and how Nicolas Jackson got a hattrick in the PL before Rashford. The game ended with a score of 1-4, Chelsea winning it.

In the first half, Chelsea starts off with the ball and Tottenham is pressuring them to the point where the defenders just clear it hoping for their wingers to get the ball. This is unsuccessful and Tottenham got the ball but lost it after 30 seconds. Chelsea continues to lose the ball and Tottenham controls the ball in their (Tottenham) half and scores off a redirect by the Chelsea defender. It stays balanced and both teams playing fairly bad and good, until the 30th minute. Tottenham’s Romero gets a straight red card for “tackling” a striker inside the box. Romero did seem to get the ball but the ref deems it as a risky tackle. Chelsea gets a penalty from this and scores which ends up tying it up. The first half comes to an end 15 minutes later with nothing happening as we move on to the second half.

The beginning of the second half is boring and is not really important, but 25 minutes into the second half Chelsea split up Tottenham’s defenders inside Tottenham’s half and found a through ball, carried it into the box, passed it to Jackson’s feet for a goal, Chelsea takes the lead.

Going into overtime, Chelsea are still in the lead but want to secure it, so they do the same thing they did on their second goal and make it 3-1 Chelsea. Even though they are winning, Jackson who scored the two previous goals wants another one, he gets a nice through ball into Tottenham’s half and makes it all the way to the box, Jackson fakes the goalkeeper and easily slides it inside the net. Chelsea finished off the game 4-1 and Tottenham faced their first defeat in the Premier League this season.
