Princeton is an ivy league university located in Princeton, New Jersey. The yearly tuition is about $57,410 and the acceptance rate is about 4.4%. Princeton is known for having a beautiful campus designed by well-known architects. It’s known for its commitment to liberal arts and for having one of the finest economic departments in the world. Some of the most popular majors at Princeton University include social sciences, engineering, computer and information sciences and support services, biological and biomedical sciences, public administration and social service professions, physical sciences, history, English language and literature/letters.

As of 2022, Princeton graduate and undergraduate alumni have won 24 Nobel Prizes in physics, chemistry, economics, and literature. Some famous alumni are Sonia Sotomayor, Michelle Obama, Jeff Bezos, F. Scott Fitzgerald, James Madison, and John F. Kennedy. Sonia Sotomayor is the first Latina and the third woman to serve in the Supreme Court. Michelle Obama is a role model for women and advocated for poverty awareness, education, nutrition, physical activity, and eating healthy. She’s written many books and is considered a fashion icon. Jeff Bezos is known for founding the world’s largest e-market Amazon and F. Scott Fitzgerald is known for his classic books written in the Jazz age. James Madison was the fourth U.S president to serve during 1809-1817 and John F. Kennedy was the thirty-fifth president to serve during 1961 until he was assassinated in 1963. Princeton is one of the nine colonial colleges that were established before the Declaration of Independence. This includes Harvard, William and Mary, Yale, Princeton, King’s or Columbia, the University of Pennsylvania, Brown, Dartmouth, and Queen’s or Rutgers. Princeton offers a wide variety of sports such as fencing, water polo, swimming, rugby, squash, softball, rowing, and more. The sports teams are known as the Princeton Tigers.
