On Wednesday, May 15, Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico was shot multiple times in an assassination attempt. Luckily, he didn’t die, but he is currently in the hospital and critical condition. A witness heard three shots, one hit his arm, another on his stomach, and the last one on his leg. This all happened when he was leaving a government meeting in Handlova. The assailant has been detained.
