Robert Frost Middle School has been given a new dean, Mr. Girgis. Most people do not know much about him, so we interviewed him so we could all get to know him together.

Q: How long have you been working with students in schools?

A: I’ve worked in schools for 32 years.

Q: How many schools have you worked at and if so which ones?

A: I’ve worked at a total of 5 schools, Los Angeles Academy Middle School, Robert F. Kennedy Middle School, Maclay Middle School, John Muir Middle School, and now, Robert Frost Middle School.

Q: Have you ever thought about being a teacher instead?

A: I’ve been a teacher before for a P.E. class for 12 years.

Q: What made you want to be a dean at Robert Frost Middle School?

A: I wanted to be a dean at our school to be closer to my home.

Q: How strictly do you think you are as a dean on a scale of one through ten?

A: I’d say I’m a mildly strict dean but I also have a lenient side. So out one through ten, I’d say eight.

Q: What’s your life’s most significant achievement?

A: Mr. Girgis has had many great fulfillments in his life but his favorite one is his family.

From these questions that we have asked, it overall seems like we have a wonderful new dean for the Frost community. We are super lucky to have an outstanding dean on our school campus, hopefully for the next couple of years at the least.
